Dunno - there are probably a few of these pre-production units running around with various trim levels....the silver one in the spy shot has chrome mirrors, exhausts - but black wheels.

The off-road (errr let's call that dirt road ;)) one has chrome mirrors and what looks like either highly polished aluminum or chrome rims....

No telling. My guess is whatever is lying around in the parts bin that day to throw on a truck, gets put on. Those types of items don't really have any effect on testing or roadworthyness.

I would guess as somepoint they pull the production plug on the black gloss exhaust. Coatings on any exhaust components (even ceramics) in all weather conditions are tough to keep looking nice (chipping, fading from heat cycles etc) I have a ceramic coated exhaust on my racecar and it looks ok...now if I drove through a bunch of salt or mud daily...I think it would look really bad.

Sometimes they work...sometimes they don't. Just my 02.

The only other thing that pic reminds me of is that this beast needs to be lower....it looks like a silver Overland. I hope springs are out by the time I get mine.

Also - that thing should be in a 4 wheel drift, sideways around that curve....rally style. But I digress.

Hopefully when they build my 2012 WK8 they throw on those headlight washer setups, those looked awesome!! :D
