It's good shit. 18 oz. for $20 and I barley used any of it today. One coat of this stuff looks like three to four coat of Mother's cleaner wax. The best part about the 2.0 is that the sealant is mixed into the liquid.. all-around awesome product. It is a little difficult to remove but that's what the quick detail is for.
For the hand-waxer.. this is the product.

hehe this stuff is great... it was on sale for $10 at pepboys this past weekend!!! bought 3 bottles... All the meguiar's pros say to put 2 thin layers on everytime you wax/seal your car. best to wait a few hours before you put the 2nd layer on!!! i top this with #26 from meguiars as well... this is actually a sealant:)

sealant before wax Irfy! The sealant is #21 and the hi tech yellow carnuaba is #26. I used the NXT for years before i decided to try the #26 yellow wax. #26 is easy to use and wipes off easily with no dust. Also great to use with a DA polisher---

yes scott sealant before wax is 100% correct. the odd and funny thing is that nxt 2.0 isn't a wax but its actually a sealant! MOL (meguiars online) clearly states that. the only reason they have "wax" on the package is b/c it is their consumer line;) hehe did lots of homework on meguiar's products thanks to you:)

It might not be a wax specifically but on the bottle it says it's a cleaner/sealant and it sure cleaned all the shit off my brother's mustang which never receives the attention that the Jeep gets, unless I'm getting paid. Cha-ching! $$$ But seriously I kept switching app. pads b/c they kept getting nasty.
Irf, you should be proud of your research btw.. it's probably correct b/c it doesn't wipe off like regular wax (dusty, etc.)

yeah...wax is a generic term nowadays like CAI.....most car waxes are sealants and dont have any wax at all in them

Carnauba wax is outdated imo, polymers ftw.

#26 def gives a diff look than nxt2.0 that is why i put 2 thin layers of nxt2.0(to cover any missed spots) then top off with #26 for a ridiculous dept/shine that nxt2.0 can't give by itself.

yeah the #21 synthetic sealant offers a much better glow than the nxt 2.0

I mean I don't think so, I can't detect any swirls (silver FTW :p )So why bother...?
Yeah, mine hasn't been waxed this year either. I need to decide if I want to use NXT2.0 or the paste.

matt - nxt liquid is easier than the paste IMO!!! apply 2 thin coats hours apart to get full seal!!! top with meguiar's #26 to get that extra pop:)

Yeah, I've used the liquid once before, but I just felt the protection wears a lot faster than a traditional paste. Although I did only one coat, so maybe I'll do two this go around.

How the heck you guys apply that liquid stuff? I always felt that when i use a towel or something 99% of it is soaked in and there's nothing left in the bottle by the time i get past the hood.

nxt2.0 is suppose to be put on very thinly!!! paste and liquid will provide same protection if applied correctly!!! use two thin coats for optimum performance:thumbsup:

did you use the foam applicator that was provided? you only need a small amount per 2x2 area to apply!!!

Cool, thanks Irfy... I have a pretty wide open schedule this weekend, so that's when it will get done. One class down this Thursday, one to go, woo!
