View Full Version : plug and play LED tails?

this auction says they are plug and play.
can i just replace the existing bulbs with these LED bulbs and be good to go?

i am thinking about these if i tint my tail lights.

I'm not 100% sure that they would fit. the 07-10 Jeeps use only one plug which means that one bulb uses All Parking Lights/Turn Signal/Braking Lights. I don't think they would fit. Maybe someone else would chime in!

Yes they will fit. I wouldn't buy led's from ebay though, they're all crap. Look up our vendor xenondepot or v-leds is your best bet.

Either send them to Scott, one of our vendors to get them painted, or you could go with laminx. I bought some laminx charcaol tailight covers from a member here and they look pretty good. Install is pretty difficult to get them perfect.

thanks for all the help, i was thinking of just going to my window tint guy because i know he does the tail lights as well.
didnt think of painting them or covers!

MKAE SURE THE TAILS are for your 2009. the only PnP for that year are the ones with partial LEDs like this. partial meaning a curved pattern vs rectanble ones bleow.

He was just talking about the LED bulbs, not the full taillights. Although, you should look into them. They look really good on our Jeeps

can plasti dip be used to spray the tail lights? will the lights still be able to be seen? and will it melt or peel?
