View Full Version : Steering wheel button illumination???

Hi guys, I can't remember if my steering wheel buttons were illuminated with headlights on? The front-side cruise control ones I mean.....

Can anyone confirm or deny if they are meant to be on a limited?

If they don't, then they SHOULD! lol

The steering wheel buttons light up on my 08. Cruise control is located on a lever on the lower right which I think is different for the earlier MY's. My buttons are only for the EVIC. I think they'll work for the nav if you have it though.

yeah......the 05-07 cruise is on the steering wheel

Yeah this is one of the annoyances i think of with the Jeep. My two only things that i really wanted on a new vehicle was 1. sunroof and 2. steering wheel controls, audio and cruise. It was great cause at that time, for all i cared the engine could have been three cyls. I just had to have those two things to make me happy. Well now i regret not having the hemi. Ok i will digress back to topic. My Oldsmobile had the steering wheel controls and they were lit up all nice at night. I dont see why they couldnt do somethin like that. ugh.

those assholes should keep to counting chrycos beans and stay out of the designers offices!
