Need to know instead of spending big money just to get a new paint job. I heard Megs and Mothers have a a wax or something that refines the paints and helps out getting rid of the scrathes.
So whats out there guyz??? Please help. Thanks

Megs has a "scratch x" type solution but you're not going to get the best results by hand bro if you don't have a polisher. Hand buffing only goes so far.

For it to work you need to take all the wax off your paint and start from the beginning so the product can do the most work on your paint.

Some detailers might give you a good deal and it's still cheaper than repainting but you'll have to constantly upkeep the job to keep the scratches from showing.

I once backed into the garage with my hatch up, Left a huge paint mark across the hatch of my DD. Broke out the scratch X and it looked like new.

ScratchX (especially the new version) is fantastic for doing small areas.

Yes, its not easy work but then hand polishing isn't!

If its swirls, then a filler heavy glaze would be a better option - still tiring tho.....

I use stuff called ScratchX.( http://www.autogeek.net/megscratxfin.html) Works great. I use it when I go off road and get trailside pin striping.

Yep!!! I'm back. I got back in Midnight last friday. Now I am working a different shift schedule. 2 on, 2 off every other week end off (3day weekend) and I work 12 hour shift. I work 11pm to 11am. I just got off 11am 2day and I won't need to go back to work till Monday at 11pm. Kind of weird schedule, but I like it.
I missed my Jeep while I was gone so much. lol. When I got back I installed a new updated superchip program and now my jeep sounds even better. All in All, Glad to be back in Cali.

Ok, I just didn't want to go out and have to buy dish washing soap if I didn't need to cuz I know I have dish soap, but it's green soap and I didn't know if it that would do it.
