has anyone realized that the Dodge Ram has been re-branded as just RAM now?
i wonder why that it?

They did this probably over a year ago... they wanted to make it it's own brand really. They want Dodge to focus on the cars/vans and Ram is strictly for trucks.
Even though when I had my 2010 Laramie 1500, it still said Dodge on the logo on the tailgate and on a couple spots in the interior.

EDIT: just found this article that starting with the 2011 MY trucks, it would no longer be called "Dodge Ram 1500" but only "Ram 1500". I wonder if they changed the badging as well.

From what I have been told is to separate basically classes of vehicles into brands.
Ram - Trucks
Dodge - sport
Chrysler - classy
Jeep - offroad
Fiat - gay.. ahem fuel effient, economy ;)
