Rapid Blinking then Normal??

I just noticed this when i came home. Was driving and turned on my right blinker and got this rapid blink. I'm thinkin one of the bulbs must have broke. So i checked my tails and the right one was out. so i'm gonna replace tha bulb, no biggie. when i press the lock, both on my bulbs on my tail flashed. wth? i turned on the engine and turn on my right blinker. it seemed fine and i then turned on my fogs and 3 secs later it went back to rapidblinker and my back tail was out. tried this 2 more times and same result! regular blinking then turns to rapid blink. i did get my fog programmed by STAR Jeep and maybe they messed something up? ANy advice or suggestion would be appreciated!!

you have an 09...so it has a 2 filament bulb.....the brake probably works...but the turn signal is out

scott, without turning on the parking,fog and headlights the turn signal is fine. when 1 of them is on that's when the prob occurs :(

yep...but when the lights are on...one doesnt work...right? You need a new bulb.

Yeah just change the bulb and let us know what happens. Make sure you get the correct bulb.

Perhaps blinker fluid is low?

On a WK that uses 1 bulb per tail....the brake/blinker works on the same filament, and tail light works on the other...so the tail light could be working, but the brake/turn might not be...my dad's 08 Ram has blown the same bulb twice....

Replace the bulb...and see what happens....thats one of the easiest ways to see if thats actually the problem...

Usually a bad or going bad relay. This is assuming you know whether the bulb is actually good or not. Pretty easy to check......... Turn it on at nightime or just get out and look when it's turned on.
