Wanted to change it up from the stock red.
Initially the plan was to paint them blue. Ended up spraying six different shades of high temp blue and decided on one. Now, we were using a translucent color over a metallic silver base. Both are high temp rated to 500*. So we prep, clean and mask and my buddy starts spraying the silver base.
Well, we both agreed that it looked pretty good and went with the current color scheme that I have on the Jeep so we just did the metallic silver and used the black Brembo decals that I had purchased back in the spring.
Here's the pics:

You pointing out them being red and not matching my color scheme did get the red to start bothering me again and made me want to paint them asap. The red bothered me before I bought it, then I didn't mind it, then it bothered me again

 I should have taken a pics with the wheels off......especially since I had gone in the office to get my Brembo decals and had my camera right there, never grabbed it though.

It does look amazing Dan.....really does...but I've always had a thing for red calipers...lol..
The silver does look crazy good tho....and it does flow nicely with the Bright Silver and Charcoal theme you got going on there!! :D Your SRT is drool worthy!

And as mentioned.....they are stock Brembos, this is what they looked like stock:

Since I painted them Silver I needed to put the "Brembo" back on them. I opted for the decals.

Is the lip on the bottom of the SRT bumper there for areodynamical purposes? or is it just a mold flaw?

Not sure.....I think it's there so people can damage it in the snow/ice so that they have to buy a new one,

I'm sure that "lip" on the bottom of the lip of the bumper has a reason to be there Dylan..
Remember that Dan's SRT8's are painted Charcoal Metallic, not black.... ;)
Edit: Sorry Dan...I was just about to type that about your wheels and you beat me to the post...lol!

the lip is there for the lower bumper support to bolt into. that just isnt a flat straight piece
