So finally the beast is ready for me to have a drive of at the track early next month :) You could say I'm a little excited :D lol

My mate's insane "Time Attack" R34 GTR. And we might even be racing it in the US next year (I'll be crewing)! :):D:eek:

750+ (way + lol) all wheel HP
6 speed sequential Hollinger gearbox, 4WD
Carbon panels, (app 2700lbs)

It's on the warm up lap Dylan, you know, warming the tires etc....

And yes, it's a race car, so it has a straight cut sequential dog engagement gearbox, it's not meant to be quiet little boy ;)

oh yeah I forgot how much of a B-ich cold tires are lol, and I like how when he let of the gas at high rpm makes the whole car get a little upset at one point :)

Sure did, all the real stuff too :D

Dry carbon layup, the rear quarter panels weigh 6.2lbs! LOL

The only steel left in it is the central body unit and the roof.

I think the squealing noise is actually the brakes. Probably ceramic with some race only compounds in the pads?

Yeah, its onm its warm up lap so race pads are noisy.
We don't use ceramic pads for anything.
The pads we use need about 550+ degrees celcius before they work properly and get quieter.

Nah, steel discs, for this application they're perfect, and not to mention much more durable and much cheaper! The car is built for what we call "superlap", which is basically one car on track, one lap, fastest time wins :)
This brake package works fine on the V8 Supercars which are heavier and run races up to 8hrs long.
It runs a "V8 Supercar" package, 385mm rotor, and Alcon billet calipers.
