Brighter Halo Rings

I see the bmw cars with their halo rings durring the day and i think it looks awesome! I've notice my halo rings arnt bright... does any one know how i can make them brighter or is there just a bullb i need to change? if so what size it ?

also does anyone know where i can buy just an HID bulb cause my burned out? :(

we have two HID vendors on here that will gladly sell you a bulb.


You may be able to add a voltage regulator to adjust the halos with. But I have no idea what kinda halos you have. Are they built into the headlight or did you add them?

The be able to see those halo's during the day Hector, you're gonna have to put some in there with wayyyyyyyyyyyy more LED's, or of CCFL halo's....

Those halo's that are in the aftermarket projectors uses 2 tiny LED bulbs to power the entire halo...and thats why its not that bright...

Umm...I dunno Hector...those LED bulbs that are that halos looks like the halos are molded around them. It doesn't look like you'd be able to take them apart and put a brighter bulb in there...but I may be wrong....

You may wanna just live with them the way they are...cause my projectors aren't with me anymore because of me opening them up...

I have the same problems since we both have the same projectors, those halos are dim as hell and I guess Hannes explanation explains it lol.

And Davy those angel eyes look nice. I can't tell whether or not they will fit my aftermarket projectors, maybe if I see them upclose and see them up to my Jeep then we will know. They might be too big for the lows, not sure about the highs. But again no hurt in taking a look, so Davy if your going to the LI trail ride, bring them along.

Shoot Charlie...I don't know....mine fogged up from the inside out....I don't know if was the heat from the headlights that made the paint that I used smoke a bit, or if I didn't seal it properly...but I'm sure I sealed it properly...cause I ran silicone around it to make sure there weren't anything that wasn't sealed...

It's a risk that you're gonna have to take...lol....

Damn, maybe if these do turn out to fit I'll buy another pair or something. It sounds like projectors turn to crap after opening or atleast you have to seal them up really well somehow.

Those angel eyes are bright as hell. Wow, I really hope they fit then I could use these instead of my lows haha.

Yeah, they are just slightly bigger but if you put them it they would look slightly awkward if you looked up close.
