Any Canadian orders get their VIN's yet?

Just wondering if anyone from Canada has received their VIN for their newly ordered Wk2 SRT8.

Nope not me,heard a crazy story from my dealer today he said Chrysler Canada called him to tell him the Canadian introduction would be delayed and that at the present their were 2 trucks in the whole province that were here but Chrysler was refusing to sell them.I've got another dealer wich i'm on good terms with and they have quite a lot of trucks ordered but their clueless with any info.Both dealers have way more orders then allocations.They're dying to get them.Basically Chrysler Canada and their whole dealer network are all lost.I'm very familliar with the car business and i've bought 7 grand cherokees going back to 1998. BTW vin's don't mean much till it's on rails.

Still nothing only BS from Chryco.One day in the computer they've got a code that says their a certain stage,couple of days later it's actually a previous code that shows.In any event looks like i'll personally wait till spring,whats the point of receiving this truck in December or January.

Quite a few Canadian VIN's have been assigned, but at this time only about 20 vehicles have reached D1 status. Only a few retail models have been built, none have shipped.

Having a VIN assigned is definitely a step forward in the process. If you don't have one yet then I don't see how the vehicle will arrive anytime in October (November could be out also if there have already been a number of VINs assigned to vehicles headed up north.)

Yeah I have no idea I ordered mine 4 months ago and my dealer is pretty descent size they seemed to received a lot of other SRT models over the years, so I'm hoping they get mine in this first shipment since I put my money and order in on June 1st. If I have to wait much longer I'm switching to another vehicle I'm in need of a vehicle this coming month for sure.

I ordered mine about a week after the order banks opened in the US, at this point this site and the tracking that Milous provides has been far superior from any info I received from any dealers I spoke to. Not to say that there arent good ones out there but this site has been the main reason I stayed with my order. I am not a big fan of the delays but the info has satisfied my normal reaction to get impatient and move on to something else.

Ive contacted my dealer on a daily basis and looks like Canada is on a 10% to U.S availability . 300
In states to 30 in Canada to date. Ordered mine May30 expecting in new year!

I got my VIN my truck has been built and is sitting at Livernois for almost 5 weeks now, I don't get what the hell is going on with Chrysler they absolutely suck I will not be buying another Chrysler after this, if I don't cancel before it gets here (which according to the dealer Chrysler has promised them it is shipping in the next couple or days).

Well my problem is solved for this winter picked up a mineral gray laredo x,Thanks Milous for Confirming that my 2 usual dealers aren't even on that list,even if mine comes in after new years,I'll wait till march 15th to get the srt8 by then all the hooplah will be over.

No way to predict when it will advance past inspection, too many factors come into play. Canadian production just got started within the past couple weeks, I would expect some progress on yours in the coming week, depending on how long it will be in the QC process.

Got mine almost 3 weeks ago took about a week to get the shipping company to finally ship it out across country for me their train was empty when I booked my shipment that's why it took so long. Bought it in Ontario shipped it to BC, drove it around for about 30 minutes before it was taken away by the shipping company though. I should receive it Monday hopefully.

no vin # yet .also ordered my unit the day they were allowed to order havent heard or seen anything .dealer said it would be here in october its now december anybody know what the hold up is .i bought my zr1 corvette when it was released and got delivery in 3 and half months

They're building them very slowly and shipping very slowly to the Canadian market, I was fortunate enough to get in touch with a great dealer in Toronto and get mine in late October.

I am in the same boat as you. Ordered on June 16 and still in BX status. The worst part is my dealer got one that was ordered for the dealership after mine two weeks ago and it is gone already.

So far it is the only one that has been built for Saskachewan. Hate this waiting game!

dealer called this morning mine has been shipped should be here on december 15,2011. they said the problem getting them shipped is something to do with the front end parts spoiler etc .they told me a supply problem is holding them up.dont know if its true or not.ill keep ya posted to see if it shows up. my buddy at the dealership said there doing dealer inventory first.
