I know this has been beaten to death, but aren't the European prices for Jeeps a lot more? Wouldn't the Euro SRT8 been really close to the price of the BMW and Porsche?

here in the middle east our dealer is speculating a figure at about the 64,000$ mark.
i can only imagine how much more it will be in European countries with all the taxes and duties!

At last!! Being in America and all I really don't understand why. But we get the Euro version down here. Am very anxious to find out how much it will cost. The previous gen was close to 80k with all options included.
We'll see.....
Thanks for that info Scott

No, because BMWs and Porsches are much more expensive over there as well...

I heard the rear tires are going to be larger than the front and they are going to remove the fender flares.

Are they Right hand drive ?
This is the big question as Euro run both LHD and RHD.
My dealer said I would not get a lot of change from AU$100,000

Jeep Oz replied to my Q on Facebook months ago and promised it would be less than the Gen 1 SRT8..... but, I thought the first one was a rip-off, and unless this new SRT chimes in around 80k on road they won't get my dollar. And I want the new gearbox (with blip on downchange) and the large 8" head unit too. Please?
The diesel Laredo really is the value buy in Oz in my opinion. Charging double for the SRT.... nah, too much of a gouge.
