View Full Version : Spark plugs?

I've got about 38,000 miles on my jeep. I'm sure the plugs are original, do you guys think it would be worth my while to change them? I just watched the video of that weird guy on youtube change his plugs on his 4.7 wk, they looked really bad and gapped themselves to double the stock specs. That's the reason why i ask.

i do mine 30K. always have since the start of electronic igintion. its cheap insurance if you do them yourself.......

get some anti-sieze for the threads too.

use OEM Champion replcements. any auto parts store has them.

Cool, thanks rob, it looked pretty easy to do. Did you use a torque wrench, or just snug em'?

haha, thanks Scott, i was reading that thread, while you posted this reply. I'm really just trying to decide if it's worth my time. I'll probably do it this weekend. About an hour or so?

with a tq wrench, taking the intake off etc. yeah about an hour.....

I couldnt tell a difference...but my truck had like 28k miles
