2007 problems?

Hi everyone, I'm new here, just joined today. While searching the forum and reading old posts, I cam across a couple comments saying that the 2007 CRD had more problems than the 2008. Have you all found that to be true, and if so, what were the common problems for the 2007? I'm considering buying a 2007 CRD from a dealer near by. It has less than 5,000 miles on it, but no longer has a warranty; that ended with the original owner. What do you think?

I have the 2007, no issues and it does not have the urea additive like the 2008.Replaced turbo hose with the upgraded hose for 130.00$. bought it with 69,000 km, now have 95,000 km. I have had not one engine code light up todate, yea germans. I change the oil myself every 12,000 km. just remember you have a german engine, so alot of dealers in usa are new to this, In canada we have a ton of them.

Thanks for your thoughts. I like not having to add urea to the cost of operating the 2007. Thats a plus in my book!

well i bought mine for 26,000 $ last year with 40,000 miles, with the milage your has ( so low) want do they want?

None of our CRD need Urea. It is not a BLUETECH.
