any1 ever use these air filters?????

i was doin some browsing and came across a spectre cone air filter with an opening at the top of it so it looked like good eye candy and had a good quality look and contruction as does k&n and looks to be the same gauze material, what i want to know how much difference would i have from my k&n filter, the spectre is longer and wider pand has the top opening im sure the diff is minimal but since its the exact price of k&N is this a better filter? has any1 used and can compare?

To my knowledge I have no clue. I'd stick with brand named thing's like K&N like what you have. I have the K&N panel Airfilter...I don't expect 15 horses out of it. I just like it because I can just clean it instead of buying a new air filter.

Check out Amsoil... they are dry filters.
