What's up yall Im new to this forum, and I was just wondering I just ordered these rims a few hours ago and I got 22x9 all the way around I gotta 05 5.7 and I heard the staggered fit would ruin my truck and ride like crap......so did I screw up or is the staggered fitment they send u just fine on my ride?

I spoke to Doug at FR today about the viper wheels. He didnt even have staggered in 20's in the vipers........

so it appears 22 in 60 days. now FR 60 days and the rest of the world are a bit different. but it does sound promising!

So I was told by a bunch of people out here in ma that the staggered would screw up my car because of the all wheel drive I mean the srt8ers are all set but what us hemi riders? lol please someone get back to me on this soon because I was told by David at FR that I can change my order if I decide to go staggered instead, so someone please help me out, I understand your all happy about the rims but help a brother out u know.....and btw thanks for the open arm welcome lol....

you're asking if you can have a 22X9 in front and 22X10 in back? if FR says its ok, then its fine. The SRT is an AWD truck just like your hemi. It has 20X9 in front and 20X10 in back. The only problem you would have with 4wd is if the overall DIAMETER of the tires+wheels is different front and rear, NOT the width. (to a point)
What these guys are saying is that FR has not announced the availability of black 22' viper wheels... so im thinking we have some sceptical people...

Ok I'll rephrase my question are any of you guys with the limited or laredos going with the staggered....I was just worried cuz I went to zekes in dighton ma and he told me that he'd stay away from the staggered on my truck.....that's all I'm sorry if aggravated any of yall with my questions....it just my first time hooking up a car so I'm very nervous and that's why I'm asking yall cuz u guys know what's up.....and Rel thanks for your post and that's exactly what FR told me....like I said I just want my truck to look the best it can but I don't wanna pay for it at the end and rob I will def have pics up soon.....I don't have a car domain but I wanted to wait until the 26th for the rims to get here to postem.
You may as well stick with the 9's. At least you'll be able to rotate them, lol.

it means you have different width wheels or even width and diameter, on the front and back axles.
you use different aspect ratios to make sure tyhey have the same diameter.......

yeah staggered will work.. but then things get complicated when replacing/rotating wheels/tires...
when i get my SRT reps... im getting 20X9 all the way around. thats what "I" would do... only because im willing to give up the fat back tire look for a little more practicality.

Questions like this are what makes the forum experience so good. Most of these guys were newbs once too and asked the same questions....so ask away.
the staggered fitaments will be fine. My truck is a 4.7 laredo and I have the OEM SRT 20x9's and 20x10's. I have had them for over 3 years with no problems whatsoever. I actually think the look is awesome and I recommend it. Tires are gonna be more expensive for ya...becasue they will need to be staggered as well. For instance...my front tires are 255-45-20 and my rears are 285-40-20. So if you want the staggered look...go for it...it LOOKS the BEST IMHO.

the staggered looks cooler since the back tires will be wider. but they are also more expensive to replace the tires since you can't just rotate your tires. you will have to buy new ones

At the end of the day, its your prefference.
From what I can understand from scott is that the staggered look is great but it will be more $$ to maintain. (tire rotations etc) but if you got the $$$, feel free to do so!

no....the same all around isnt queer....but for me...IMHO...the staggered looks the best. But as I said...it will be more expensive to maintain. Honestly though....the rear tires last twice as long as the fronts from my experience...so youll only have to buy rear tires every 2 times....LOL

According to Miata calc http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html there is only 1.1" rolling diametre difference front to rear, so it will be fine. (1.1" could be less than the difference of running for instance new tires front, worn tires rear)
Not to mention it will look HOT :)
