Finally broke into the 12.6X's tonight. I was really hoping for 12.5x's but it wasn't to happen tonight. Oh well, what can you do. I will say that I am now a fan of pulling the ABS fuse!:D It did net me my lowest time.:rocker: I think there defintely some tuning to do. I'm stuck in the 106's!!!! I can't get out. My truck has never been in the 107's..... yet. It's definitely time for a dyno tune. Here are my results below. I'm lazy so I took pictures. Interestingly..... My best run of 12.623@106.87 corrects to a 12.615@106.875. I actually ran a faster time yet it corrected to a higher time than my previous PB. Go figure. Ooops... I'm NUMBER 14!!!!!

Those numbers are great I'm jealous.. get that thing tuned in and you'll be in the .5xx's all day.

One question.. what the hell were you racing that ran a 21 second et? I wonder how he was feeling around the 1/8 mile ...

Yeah, that poor guy! He had a Ford Thunderbird Turbo Coupe. Like an 1988 or something. I left him so bad at the line the first time I thought he broke!:D Then I realized he was just that slow. I saw gauges and crap in his ride so I thought he may just be a sleeper!

Congrats Harry! Man these SRT's are quick ****ers for a big fat girl! :)

Yeah she's pretty quick for a fat bitch! I ran twice an older GMC pickup that sounded like he was gonna BLOW my doors off. I mean a gnarly sounding 355 in her. Only to be surprised he ran a 13!! Next time in the staging lanes he asked me WTF is in that thing. It was pretty damn funny.

Creeping up there Harrison!

very consistent too........

When I got home I really looked at the slips and I was shocked at how consistent she ran. 1/8 miles were all 8.0X's except one when I ran the truck in D instead of Autostick. 60 ft's were pretty good too.

WOW, you're still running on a canned DSP tune? Dude, you NEED CMR in a bad way.

What are the specs on that PPP cam?

Congrats sir.

Thank you much!

That was this guys Yellow GTO. He's got an LS6 motor and spraying a 200 shot. That thing is gnarly fast!!

I AM running a CMR tune. It's an email tune. It's just a one shot tune though. I did some datalogging and it's pretty safe right now. Not much KR at all and fuel is a touch rich. You can't run a cam with a canned tune. It'll be a grumpy bastard! I only ran a canned tune for about 3 days, then went CMR.

Specs on the cam are..... 218/224 .570/.555 113lsa
She's got a pretty gnarly sound to her.:D

Congrats man, I envy you!

Thanks bro... not much to envy though. Just one mod at a time.

At least I got you on the tree the first time we ran. Haha I was just happy to be back in the 12.7x range.

My mistake, didn't see the RDP line in there. I bet you'll gain some ground with some dyno time. Do you have a wideband, or are you basing you being rich off the adaptives?

You actually can run a cam off a canned tune from what I hear. Not speaking from experience, however.

Sounds nice, fast ramps from the peak numbers. Too bad the LSA isn't a little tighter, but its a good all around grind it seems.

Congrats and nice numbers! Is that all you did differently was pull the abs fuse?

I wanted a 113 LSA. BlownWK has a 112 in his. My likey his!! I don't want a 114 or higher. They sound too much like stock. I like scaring little old ladies.:D

When I datalog it the factory O2's will give a narrowband reading. It's not as good obviously as a wideband but it'll work. You CAN run a canned tune with a cam but you'll be throwing codes left and right. It's just not safe. Our buddy Keoni went 11.9's with this cam and Stage 2 heads and everything I have now. Heads are good for .2-.3 so I'm getting kinda close to where I should be. Only problem is I gotta drive about 5 hours to get tuned.:( I can put it on a dyno here in town and use the "sniffer" to check my air fuels like I did last time. I was 12.2-12.4 across the board. When I datalogged it on the dyno I found what the narrowband numbers were. My cam tune is richer than my old non-cam tune. I'd rather not mess with the tune until I've either got my wideband or I'm back on the dyno with the "sniffer".

That was the difference in the first set of runs vs. the 2nd set of runs. I went from 12.65's to 12.62's. I've never done it before and always wanted to but I kept forgetting at the damn track!:o I pull the ABS PUMP fuse. My dashboard turns into a Christmas tree with all the lights that come on.

I know Chris aka Blown WK personally. Hes a good guy. Some of the parts off his Blown WJ ended up on my truck for awhile. And yeah, his cam sounds great cut on a 112. I'd like to see something simliar to the specs you have but on more like a 108 or 110, so long as it clears p2v.

Where are you located that you have to drive 5 hours for a tune???

I gotta head down to Johan down south. He's somewhere down there. WPB, Miami, Laud. somewhere, not quite sure YET.

I live in Ponte Vedra Beach. I hang out with Chris regularly. We drink beer about 2x/month together. He lives about 15 minutes from my house.

Here's Chris' Jeep, My Jeep, Dave's(HawkMan) at my house for a drink fest!:D
