I installed the controller a couple days ago. Here's a few videos of some of the features.

are those the ccfl's or led ones? cuz i got the 8k ccfl ones.

They are LED's. You can see them CLEAR in the day and at night its magic. :lol:

No its on a strip with little leds.

Stay away from the CCFL's (glass). The leds are much safer.

I wish they came out with this stuff for the WJ's. Look like I'm gonna have to invest in a WK in the future :D

Im sure they'll look just as good as mine. Are you going to do them yourself? There's a couple writeups on here to help you (escapes)&(robpp).

Which kit did you order?

Thats pretty cool. I like the strobe you can do with them. Do they look just like in the video when they are turned up like that, to where you can't see the headlight because of their glare? Or does it just make the halo more visible?

No the glare is from the camera. You can see them clear as day.

x2 on that. Contact Flashtech, ask for Steve or Wes. You will need about 10 confirmed buyers. and a pair of headlights to donate.

be sure to send both right and left. we found on the WK there are differences................

Will be doing it all myself and plan to follow Escape's writeup but have not made up my mind if I should paint like robpp or leave it as is like you guys.

I got a kit from the headlight super center. Are there any others and if yes what are the differences ?

I really like the controller mod but that remote does not seem to give you feed back as in you do not really know what mode / brightness level you are at from within the car. Right ?

My headlights are painted black. The remote is good for 100 ft and you have eight levels of brightness, strobing, and sweeping.

Painting the headlights is a no brainer for me but I was referring to the HALO ring itself. Did you paint your HALO ring as well ?

Yeah I did.

i think i am going to have to get that remote bro.. just gonna have to to complete the angel eyes haha, so while i am grabbing some food i can have some fun while i watch kids look straight into my headlights haha

haha... The video's where kind of short but there is eight different strobe pattern settings.
