Went to the track tonight(6/3/09) with Dreamer.....

Met up with Dreamer1213 and hit the track to see what it would do with the new cam. It was a short fun time. Got 2 runs in racing each other. On the 3rd run, as I went around the water box, it start to damn rain:mad: with Hannes behind me waiting. Our first 2 runs were done 9 minutes apart. Got to the track late, went right through tech, talked for 5 minutes, and went right to the line. He didn't do too bad for his first time at the track. His best run was a 15.751@86.02. He did beat 2 Mustang GT's times!!:eek::D All in all it was fun until the rain hit. We weren't even there an hour and drove 1.5 hours to get there. Hey, at least we got 2 runs in. It was worth it for me. Better to leave then break something:

The only mod changes from my best run on 3/14 to tonight 6/3 have been the cam, a 1 revision tune, and resonators added back on. Here are the details.

I'm sorry...but whats the deal with the corrected times? Does that account for perfect conditions?

Corrected time is a way to level the playing field throughout the country. A NA car's power gets affected by the humidity and temps and DA. DA is Density Altitude. The DA last night was +1559 feet. That means, at the altitude we were at, the air equaled the air at 1559 feet up. Less O2 in the air for the engine to suck in. That's what sucks about running in Fla. in the summer time!! The lower the DA the better. Having a negative DA is AWESOME!! Your corrected time is what you would run in the winter time sucking in nice, clean, cold air!

Take for example Mario's best time of 12.56(something like that). I have more power mods than he does and have NEVER run a time like that yet. His DA was -250. It actually corrected to a 12.63. I ran a 12.70 last night. It corrected to a 12.48. So... a 12.48 beats a 12.63 in the same weather condidtions. Get it? Good.

But by using your corrected times method you said that mine corrected to this...

That's the same method you used for your corrected times of 12.48. That's still faster than my times (.09 faster) but for the difference in mods between yours and mine I can't really complain at all. With my method it corrected to 12.60 not 12.63, so give me back those 3 hundredths :D.

We can still race and I can still beat you if I tree you really good thou :D. With a .09 difference between our jeeps I can deal with that but watch out when I add a few more mods :cool:.

Another example Silver is faster than Black :D.

Yeah Mario, AJ got banned. It's just getting stupid over there.

My tuning has more left in it. This tune is a 1 revision and I haven't datalogged this revision to see what's it's doing. Usually it'll take 2-4 revisions for a cam. Gonna log it hopefully tonight or so. I've got a little something something for ya.;) Wait till I get up there. Then you'll get butt hurt.:D I can guarantee you that you're not gonna get me by .9 at the light. That's pretty funny right there.

Chris should have no problem beating me without the spray. He's got the bigger cam. Hopefully I can get my TB by next Wed.:D
