I am a newbie and would like to know how to clean the nav screen on my 2011 gc overland .What can I use for a cleaning solution and what kind of cloth ? Thank you

BTW you can get either the spray or the wipes at any local Auto parts chain or Target and Walmart for that matter.

Thanks again I was told by the dealer I could not use ammonia based cleaners like windex because it could melt the screen ,but I am not sure if he is right. Have you heard anything like that before ?

Windex is not a good idea due to ammonia.

Just a damp with water microfiber cloth does the job for me.

It is bad for the Nav screen and anything plastic for that matter.

You could try a screen cleaner for any monitor or tv, make sure it is safe for use on lcd monitoirs and it will be fine.
