i m thinking exhaust and cold air intake but i keep running into exterior visual mods... hopefully i ll end up doing some exhaust or cai


what should i doooo to my jeeep
-power chip worth it ?? for a 3.7L
-srt8 body kit if i find a good deal
- K&N series 77 cold air intake or airraid
- maybe magnaflow exhaust with fake exhaust tips on the other side to make it look like duals.

i really want marlin's old step bars and paint them white
-paint my mesh maybe in black
-bull bar
- what elseeee i need more ideas

Looks good. I would get some mirror covers and have them painted, and paint the headlights white. The headlights should be fairly easy to open and paint. A reprogrammed pcm can always help.

Paul you want to pay I don't know over $2,000 for those headlights? You should get your old headlights (original) and paint the housing Black. Now that would look awesome. And for the mirrors I think you should get them painted white also.

K&N or Bwoody CAI intake would make a really nice noise... When I fitted mine people thought I actually got a new exhaust. :D

Cosmetically, painting the mirrors/trim and the innards of the headlights white would look sweet.

I know how you feel regarding mods though, I've spent a lot more money on cosmetic than performance stuff but I'd rather get it looking how I want it before doing stuff I can't see...

i m getting flipout dvd player that i m selling installed on my car tomorow or someday within this week. after that , get the mirror covers and paint the side moldings.

but for head lights.. i dunno how i m gonna do it..

and should i get the thin strip for side moldings or leave it with the phatty

talking to someone on how to paint the housing,
gonna put in my stocks for now on the weekend, and work on the h/l housing.

gonna have to wait till my mirror covers come too tho, so i can get everything painted.

things getting painted white at the shop:
h/l housing, phatty side moldings, mirror covers.

im gonna try painting the stock rims to black to get ready for the winter :)

Sounds good Paul, guess you figured out how to dismantle the lights then?

Surely the body shop would be able to take the handles apart to paint them though. I was going to get all the trim color coded on my last car and they didn't have a problem with doing the handles. Might be worth asking them?
