Not a good start to Thanksgiving... Crashed my Jeep

Well this morning I crashed the WJ... Its not bad, it can be fixed but this is just my luck! Fixed my rust a few weeks back, been doing maintenance and got all caught up on that, installed a Rustys 2.5" lift, and was getting 32's next week...

Then this morning im in the left turn lane, arrow is green the guy in front of me goes until all of a sudden a silver car runs the red light coming from the left. The guy in front of me slams on his brakes, as did I, but i didnt stop in time and i tried to swerve but still rear ended him. We are ok, vehicles still drivable, but of course i got the ticket :mad:

The guy that ran the light was long gone but a witness told the cop that and so did the other driver so i didnt get any points and i think i can get my neighbor to waive the ticket...

Good thing your OKAY! Take it easy. But if you can go for a 04' Conversion!

I love the 04's but the conversion isnt cheap... ill fix it in spring, too cold to paint now in Michigan

04' conversion would be bad-ass you could stick some really nice fog lights in the bumper versus the 99'-03' ones. Hope the rest of your thanksgiving was better!

Hemi05WK-I live in garden city which borders dearborn heights. I used to work in dh and my girlfriend lives in dearborn so yeah you have probably seen me as I'm on Ford Rd all the time lol
Bematare-i wish I could do the 04 conversion but its not in my budget.. Especially since I just bought some new wheels and tires, and a new tv lol

Glad you're ok brotha! Maybe you can buff some of it out, or time for the 04 conversion!

You have ALLLLLLL winter to save up for a spring-time 04 conversion. Think about it...up here in MI and OH, winter starts in October and lasts until May. That leaves you with 6 months to save up for parts or find an 04 that was rear ended and totalled in the ol' junkyard. You're going to have to paint everything anyway, so why not look for used parts?

if i find an 04 that has been rear ended and the front is nice for a decent price i will do that!!!
if not, $100 buys me a brand new bumper and grille off ebay :D
