Going to hopefully set some records.....fastest N/A 4.7 non-HO WJ (current time to beat is 15.08) and first N/A 4.7 non-HO WJ in the 14's....
Will likely not happen because of the heat, but we shall see....

I used to live like 10-15 minutes from that place, tons of fun there. Good luck!

DA is going to be an issue Weds night. The heat here has been even more brutal than normal (97 today), we'll see what happens.
My SCT tune is getting pretty close to dialed in. Considering raising my shift points to 6k to keep my trans from shifting into 3rd at the big end of the track.

Can't wait for the times, even if they are corrected.

No Mario, I mean shifting into 3rd. The SRT8 has that problem because of the gearing, but the WJ with the 4.7 and 545rfe is MUCH taller.
I'll provide both my corrected and uncorrected times.

I don't think that's possible bro.

Ok...I know what OSW is now...lol...
Dammit I would have loved to go with you. Would be soo much fun!
I will keep my fingers crossed that you get those numbers!
And yes...the WJ's 3rd gear is really, really long. I think...it can take you to the limiter right? Shiftpoints to 6K FTW! :D

in a stock WJ, it likely wouldn't be. with the 31's, I can probably cross the traps in 2nd at 5900 rpm or so. The 2-3 shift occurs at about 80-82mph- I usually trap around 84.5 uncorrected.
Don't believe me, run the wifey's WJ....

Hannes, 3rd is very long...but it does not take you to the limiter. I've taken it past in OD, but I would not advise running along at WOT in OD. It's hard on the trans.
I'll likely go again before I head to NJ in December. I may or may not race again, as I go there in part because I help run the Embry Riddle Muscle Car Association (www.ermca.com (http://www.ermca.com)). We do club-sponsored track days a few times a semester.

Thanks Alfredo. We'll see what happens.
Good luck Ryan.

I will update on behalf of Ryan. In the words of Ryan: It was a really hot and humid night, and the the track was extremely slow. First run: 16.097, then ran a 16.195.

What a bad night. For starters, I had cooling issues, and ran into some small problems with my tune.
My 60' in particular was .15-.2 slower than my usual performance at this track...on my slow run I had my buddy riding with me. I was focusing on other things but he said he felt the wheels spinning a bit so to me that indicates that traction was limited.
Orlando... humidity capital of the world!
LOL, not really, but it's got to be up there.

Come to New England Ryan.;) That sucks though.
Florida doesn't provide a very long season to get quality runs in.

It's been brutal, bro.
My best time corrected to 15.7. Not terrible, but a little ways off my personal best. It looks like if I 60'd like I usually do it looks like I would have beaten my PB.
It looks like my PCM was adapting with every run, so it learning the new tune could have also been an issue. I only had about 60 miles on the tune.
We're making some revisions to my tune and I've got my cooling issues resolved finally. Stay tuned...
