Eric, you have to type in english or we won't understand..lol. I know what ur talkin about, but I still believe that the viscous coupling is the problem.

i am not doubting you on this but i was told it is the lockers in the front diff i had all that changed out when i had my wreck last winter so it should be all good now but it still wheel hops if i turn to sharp

That probly means that the diff wasn't the problem and it is the viscous coupling, like my uncle, the Jeep mechanic told me when I had it. Just my opinion.

the coupling is in your transfer case. thats the problem. Guaranteed, even Jeep techs can be wrong.

Correct, you need to pull the transfer case out and split it open. While you are there you might as well throw a fresh chain and bearings into the transfer case as well.

pull the front shaft out and see if it does it if it doesn't its the t case. buddies 98 did it and it was what unlimited is talking about. is it AWD?

As far as I know, it's not a huge problem that needs to be fixed immediately as much as it is just an inconvenience that should be fixed when you can. I'm sure that if left unchecked, it could do some damage over time, but it's nothing that is going to prevent you from driving it as is for the time being.
