Wooooooohooooooo!!!!

Installed the Diablo!

Messed with the parameters:

1.) MDS OFF

2.) Shift points on 1-2 and 2-3 to 5700 RPM's :D

3.) Raised Speed Limitor to 155 MPH (Dont worry, I'm not going to even try it.)

Oh my god this thing is the shit! I am squealing the tires whenever I launch from a light. No need to powerbrake anymore. :D Crispy shift points. Its like BOOM BOOM between each gear. I love it. Can't wait to get to the track!!!!!!

I already filled up twice. :D

Thank You Tbyrne Motorsports and Thank You Diablo!!!!! :ftmfw:

I recommend this product to everyone.

No dude. You only have it plugged in while driving when you want to Live datalog.

Yes you can undo the changes. The Diablo saves your stock tune.

Go get yourself a muffler and a Diablo bro!!!!

Robert Palmer
06-04-2009, 03:15 PM
@ Alex-So do I. Good thing I dont pay for maint, gas, insurance because if I did I would not have a diablo.

I only pay for certain accessories. And the Diablo made me myself broke. Pops wont give me an advance on my paycheck. :(

They got another event going on?

LTrainGC
06-04-2009, 03:37 PM
Joe, do you think the extra power is spread evenly over the entire powerband?

I ask because I feel like the 91 tune on the superchips applies more of it's umph above 2500 RPM. Driving around town normally when I keep the revs below 2500/2600, it doesn't feel much different than before - but if I get it to 2500 and dip into the throttle a bit it takes off like a bat out of hell.

I can feel a difference at that lower RPM. Its way different than Stock IMO. The throttle lag is REALLY reduced with this Diablo. When at in town speeds, I dont get that lag when I lightly hit the gas like before. This is a great tool.

When you get beyone 2500, the Jeep runs like you said, a bat out of hell.

Also IDK what it did but my exhaust seems louder. (It might be in my head though.)

I can only imagine what a CMR tune will do.

Yeah the throttle response for me is 100% better.

I agree with the exhaust too, I noticed it sounds not so much louder, but a little beefier if that makes sense.

I raised my rev limiter from 5800 to 6000 I think.

My WOT 1-2 shift i bumped up to 5600 or 5700, I can't remember, same with the 2-3 shift.

So is anyone else getting a Diablo? I know Jeremy is.

Does anyone know what exact HP/TQ numbers the 93 CAI tune is giving? I saw from a website (not diablo) that said 25/30.

blackpepper

I'm thinking about getting one.. :D

Installed 91 octane tune.

1-2 shift is set to 5700rpm and so is 2-3

I raised the rev limiter 50rpm :D

Turned MDS off. With the tune, MDS kicks in hard when around town. Since it goes on/off so often.. I turned that sucka off.

Going to bed.. will drive it tomorrow. 1/2 tank, no spare at the drag strip. I'll report after with some time slips.
