I hate throwing on my winter tires. Along with the much louder tire noise, I also have to face the fact that snow is coming :(

Hahaha...thanks for the comforting words everyone. There is NOTHING fantastic about this plastic buddy. They are at least easy to maintain through the crappy winter months though. The reps got polished sealed and waxed before settling in for hibernation. I hate winter.

That's why I got my rims painted.... Then bought a winter car/daily driver anyway... LOL
Seriously, the rogue chrome rims look good and you can throw some meaty rubber on them. :D

Could you please enlighten us "tropical folk" (Snow, I've seen pictures of it), as to what you've changed??????
Yes, 18 degree Celsius / 64.4 degree Fahrenheit is the equivalent of a bloody cold day here in Darwin

Ill admit it Tony, even I miss them on your Jeep so I cant imagine how you feel!
Also, to be honest im surprised you even drive your Jeep during the winter with all the salt and grime considering how nice yours is...

HAHAAHHAH....ah, if only we all had weather like that. Cheapjeep is right. They use a sodium choride treatment to melt the snow and ice that forms on the roads here. That crap ruins everything. Not to mention, the tires I have on my SRT reps are not exactly the best for snow. So around this time of year I have to put my stock rims back on (they have good, all weather rubber on them). SUCKS.

Yuck....thanks for the heads up...I'm doing the dreaded rt 80 drive from OH all the way to the Poconos, then south to Bethlehem this weekend. Now I know to not be surprised when I see that white crap all over the place. To make matters worse, I'm renting a car for the trip. Yeah, a CAR. Should be interesting.....

I actually did the 2 Jeep thing for awhile...turns out they both turn into garage queens...hhahahha. I wash mine a lot in the winter. My driveway is usually and ice rink. Anything to keep as much salt and chemical off of it as possible.

lol I'm sure you'll make it. Just think, you're trading aesthetics for safety. I wish swapping to winter tires and being sad about the look was all I had to worry about. If only there was a good documentary about Materialism in America lol. I'm sure the BMW owners would in the Fourth Circle of hell.

You do realize this is supposed to be a funny, exaggerative post and that I'm really not cowering in a corner crying over this, right? I know, I know...1st world problems.
Don't make me look for a documentary on People Having No Sense of Humor in America...hehehehe.

I dont know, I thought that looked like you in the fetal position in one of those pics
Haha kidding! Its good to have a vehicle that can look awesome all summer long, then switch wheels and have an awesome winter 4x4. I agree the salt sucks though, I hate seeing my Jeep covered in it!

When I was a young boy, I had to pull the wheels off my powerwheels too and put on my winter set up. I hated it then too....
