I gota question for you guys. Do throttle Body Spacers make any diffrence performance or mpg wise or are they a joke? I've gotten mixed responses. . .

I've heard spacers don't really do anything - porting is the way to go.

If either of these mods were actually any good, would the manufacturer simply install them from factory? After all, the cost to the manufacturer would be between zero and ten cents for both these mods, and if they delivered even half the improvement in both performance and economy that the sellers claim, well, wouldn't the manufacturer want them? Does a manufacturer deliberately release a new model with performance and economy levels deliberately below it's capability?

Skip the spacer, port the throttle body instead....do a search on this site for ported TB's
