So I drove down to the south bay to pick up my Diablo today. Right now I only have the 87 octane tune b/c I have a tank full of 89 and I need the 91 octane to run the 91 tune.
Like I said, I picked it up from a shop and they installed everything for me so I haven't had the opportunity to mess with it. I'll start making adjustments once I have the 91 tune installed.
Impression so far with the 87 tune: WOOOO! I literally left the shop and squared up next to a r/t challenger, black. I'm not saying nothing else except we were toe to toe leaving the light and I got the compliment from the chally driver. Go figure!
That in itself is the only impression I have of it. It does pick up like a bat outta hell after 2500rpm, I'm sure of that. I'm not sure on MPG yet b/c I sat in traffic the rest of the way home :(
I'll update again when I finally get a chance to get some 91 octane/change the tune.
I too recommend this product!

Took the Diablo to the track with the 87 tune. I ran a 14.73 all-day-long. I expected more with the numbers but was pleasantly surprised to see how consistent the Jeep has become :)

I've decided that I like the 87 octane tune over the 91...
Once the gas light comes back on I'm going to fill up with 89 octane (recommended for the hemi) and change it back to the 87 tune.

The 91 doesn't pack the punch that the 87 does. I bought the turner from a shop so I already had 89 fuel in the Jeep so they initially installed teh 87 tune. I burned all of my 89 oct and fueled up with the 91 oct in preparation for the track event on 6/6. On the way to the track the Jeep didn't have the "explosiveness" that came with the 87 tune. I could feel more power and sharper shifts, but the 87 tune was what I was expecting to feel with the amount of money I spent.

Joe have you had the same experience? It may be too early but have you tried the economy tune? Better mpg? Dont care I you got it for performance? If both you and Joe are happy customers I think I will have to get one ASAP.

I'm running the 93 tune and it's fantastic. I might have to give the 87 a try though.

And I have to buy the PC interface kit, right? Only way to update via pc unless I am missing something...

As far as I know the PC is the only way. You might be able to take it to a tuner shop and they might be able to do it.
If you want to save money just buy this instead of one directly through Diablo. I'm assuming it's cheaper than anything Diablo would be selling.

I went for the 93 out of the box and I went coo coo for cocoa puffs when I drove it. Then Ryan told me his experience with the 87 tune being better and I gave it a shot. I felt like I lost something.
Better mpg? Haha, no. I got it for performance only. :)

Go to tbyrne motorsports and get the package that has the predator, cables, and a tstat (its not a 180, even though its advertised as one. I'm still trying to get ahold of him.) for 375.99 shipped.
The predator alone is 375.99 w/o the cables.
Then go by a Jet 180 Tstat (10183) and a Stant 18lb locking cap (11334). I bought the Stant cap and I am awaiting delivery on my Jet Tstat.
