i dont know, i never bought one, i was checking it out for a while though, the reason i liked it was because its a plug and play system of sorts. and it is factory.

yes the range is not that great! and it is another thing to have on your keys not intergrated into key fob like newer models.

I have the Mopar starter and have no issues with it. Was a fairly easy install if I remember right. Range-wise I can start and stop if from about 150+ feet with no issues.

I just bought a viper 5901 ( I think that's the model.)
it's a 2 way. So you can see how warm your jeep is on the key fob. You can also set the run time. It will turn on my heated seats and defrost. They say it works from 1000 ft.

Oh and the mopar one is a rebranded Chinese company starter FYI

Moneen, how much $$ ? I already have an after market security system, and wouldnt mind a starter for the winter time

I paid $450+ tax CAD. And I need to buy a module too for about $100. But remember it's also a security system.

Oh and it vibrates too. Which is nice, and IMO it's the nicest looking combo on the market!
