2 weeks ago I went to my local track, got in the staging lanes only to watch a car run over the staging beams so they had to bring up the 1/4 beams and all we could run is the 1/8...Fine I'm in line so why not. I end up running a PB of 7.99 @ 106 mph with a 1.76 60'. I go back this weekend with another SRT8 Jeep. He takes left lane I take right, off we go and by the end of the run (on video) I have him by 2 lenghts pull around to go get my timeslip, look at it and NOTHING all zeros for my lane:eek::mad: apparently the beams did not catch my wheels for some reason so I look at his time and its a 12.82...anyone wanna take a stab at how many tenths that is in the 1/4?? With no doubt it would of beat my previous 12.58 but I will never know it did read my 60' of 1.75. My mods are still just the AFE2 intake, CMR tune, Borla S (not really a perf mod) and BB stage 2 VB, I dont have the Fastman TB on anymore back to stock.
Can't you just go back another night? Did I miss something...?
Either way, it should be a damn good time, congrats!

Oh I can but you can never duplicate a race and the perfect weather for that night I may never see that again

Wade I feel your hurt. I ran a freak 14.605 with no tune and I haven't seen that in years until a few weeks ago when I got my CMR and beat it... shitty dood.

Wade, not sure you can do what you're looking to do because there's no constant in the equation so to speak. Both vehicles travel the same distance but at different (trap) speeds and different ETs. I bet they're not even equally powered (HP/TRQ). So to calculate your ET based on where you finished in relation to the other Jeep would be hard/impossible without some complex math equation (get the guy from Numb3ers!!) that I'm not capable of imagining.
If there's a video, it may be possible to do the math from the start of your run to the posting of your time on their 'scoreboard' (if we knew the exact delay between that time flashing up there and the time you cross the beams at the end of the run and that it was consistent). Yes?
