Hey Andy....they look great!! The halo turn signal "accident" is pretty cool...LOL...
Don't you love the output?
The drivers set needs to up to match with the passenger side...the top of the steps should flow into each other....

Ya i do, its much better than the reflector, high beams could be a bit brighter tho but i only use them for road rage instances anyway.. haha, i do with they had a little wider coverage but over all i like them so much more that the originals. Ill adjust them today while cleaning my engine and stuff.. its weird that the halos blink when the turn signals are on, but they dont blink when i click lock and unlock, even though the blub i wired them too blinks..
i was expecting the halos to be a little brighter too but its just 2 little LEDS and not CFL by any means, maybe one day when im bored ill put a SMT led in there or somethin..

Ohhh I know what you mean!! The color flare is awesome in these...when driving behind a truck with a tail gate, and their paint is shiny...lol...and you're a little ways away...it shows really nicely!
Yeah...those halo's are just LED's....I cut my wires...LOL...I don't really care much for them...
The only other thing I'd change about these is the way the are aligned...gotta take em out to align em...lol..

you sure? i aligned mine today through the hole in the top, just use a long Phillips head screwdriver and kinda wedge it into where that sawtooth washer thing is and turn clockwise for up and counter for down..

You can aligned them with a phillips head...but it seems like it would take forever...lol..
I'll have to try it...I think mine is aimed down too low....so I'll bring them up a little and use the screw driver technique...

takes no time at all, i wish i had somewhere flat and dark to do it against.. i think i might go behind lowes once day to move the drivers side up a bit too

Finally got them adjusted right so that they are on the same level!! i must say the output has gotten a little better too now since the bulbs have had time to 'break in'

ya at first i tried it in my driveway.. bad news.. ended up with the driver side sooting WAY up in the air, so i went to lowes and did it back there, luckily it was 3 am and no one was on the road or they would have been blinded!! you gotta do it from at least 25 feet.. lol
haha ok i'll try it tonight thanks

is it possible to put hids in for the brights?
I think its possible... ive thought of doing it but most people move out of my way already lol

Nha I like blinding people in the daytime too I flash my lights a lot at stupid people that pull in front of me.
hahaha i hate when they do that and they get in slow... i usually step on it and pass them... messes me up when i'm trying to drive calm and save gas

^^ Dito ^^ my streets aren't clear enough to do that most of the time. hehe

wow look at that, what do I think I drive I mean seroiusly "my streets" A hummer lol!
heehawbus
06-16-2009, 03:22 PM
all the streets on my side of town are "my street" haha..
you can put hids in the high beams but they need a few seconds to come to full bright so when flashing people they wouldnt really work too good.. driving alot on back roads though you might see the benefit
im assuming mine are the 35 watt HIDs, do you think i could throw a set of 55 watters in there and be ok or would that be too hot, im thinking that might require an HID specific setup (projectors made for hids only, infinity tsx's anyone!?)

that would be so hot you know it would bring down the house lol. I'm useless.
