just finished it today, had to wait for night time, its not as bright as I really wanted it to be, but i'll take it for now. Will go for a brighter LED when I get tired of these.

Joe, i had talked about it over on the other forum in the past. You will need some needle nose pliers to get them out. Ya gotta be careful as not to crush the incandescent bulbs when taking them out. And no, they are not easy at all. I have done them a few times now and am pretty good at it. If i lived on the east coast id do it for ya. :D

i changed my license plate bulbs once, just regular bulbs, but it wasnt very hard.. :confused: i just unscrewed the holder and then pulled the bulb out..

Yeah the WJ is a bit nicer than the WK regarding those darn license plate bulbs in the housing. :cool:

got it from ebay, dirt cheap too compared to vleds ( not bashing just comparing prices ).

I used needle nose pliers and just wiggled them out carefully. If they break, you can then use the pliers to get all the pieces out.

have you ever tried to remove the headlight assembly? Thats a PITA w/o removing the bumper cover. Took me about an hour before i gave up and realized that there is a little door in the fender well to get at the side marker bulb. (Face, Palm)

Oh thats what that hole is for. OMG I found that when I was remounting my ballisters. LOL. Joe I've changed my plate light a few times. I'll do it for you if we meet up or something. I have led bulbs if you or anyone wants them. They are too blue for me. I got them on ebay.
