View Full Version : WJ Stealthbox with Alpine Type R and Alpine PDX-1.600

I installed this a few months back and I am just getting around to posting it up now, so here it goes:
Bought a used WJ Stealthbox off Jeepforum.com, a new 10" Alpine Type R, and a new Alpine PDX-1.600 amp. I mounted the amp under the rear drivers side seat and hardwired it to my RB1 using a Rockford adjustable line output converter(IECAULOC). I had to make a 2" spacer out of MDF board for the sub to fit in the stealth box because the box didn't have enough mounting clearance.(You can tell the sub sticks out of the box in the pics so I couldn't use the provided grill to make it completely "stealth" looking.)

Looks great! How does it sound?

Maybe this will motivate me to get started on my enclosure, haha.

It sounds amazing!...Too loud at times I have the bass set to negative 2(-2) and it still hits hard.

Question, is this box the pre 02 version or the updated post 02 version?
