OK videos of Intake and Exhaust.

I hope this works, I havnt uploaded videos before. This is the Intake right after I installed it Sunday unfortunatly I dindt take any videos while driving with just the intake before I added the mufflers but I have to say I couldnt believe how good an intake can sound, I almost debated using the muffler after installing the intake because it sounded so good. The 2nd video is a crappy one I made tonight of the 5x8x18 Magnaflow, there was too much traffic to really try it out so I made a quick one of me getting it up to about 4300RPM, im really happy with the sound, it sounds awesome when I get on the gas.

The CAI do create a lot more noise than you'd expect and its not a bad noise either! :)

How on earth do you manage to get just 9.5MPG from the 4.7 though? :eek:

I have no idea, my fuel economy sucks, I usually drive it like I stole it but even taking it easy I might see the 12's tops in the city. I thought maybe my manifold gasket was killing my mpg but I had that repaired and it still sucks. I havnt seen much if any difference between my 4.7 and the Hemi Jeeps as far as MPG.

The video was taken with the windows up, its a lot louder in person then it sounds on the clip but if I put the windows down I get too much wind to record the sound.

Im in the 10 and 11's pretty much all the time, I dont know why mines so bad, even if I baby it for awhile I still rarely break into the high 12's or 13's, I was hoping the intake and exhaust would give me better mpg's but so far it hasnt.

Sounds awsome man! You should do a side shot and just accelerate a bit to see how it sounds from outside :)

Don't think there's any aftermarket product that actually improves the MPG's.....It all has to do with HOW you drive....so just take the led out of your shoes :D

haha its so hard it sounds way too good when im heavy on the gas. Best mod ever it cost me 105 shipped for the muffler and 48 bucks for the install. Even if it doesnt add power it makes it seem faster and make it so much more fun to drive. The thing roars at WOT. I'll try to get someone to film an outside shot for me.

haha yeah I know but none of my buddies are car people so its hard to get someone to stand on the side of the road while I do a drive by they just dont understand. :D I use the video cam on my blackberry, maybe I can just sit it somewere and do a drive by. Tow haul keep it from going into 5th gear and it changes the shift points, a seen a bunch of guys on here doing it so I figured id give it a try but since i made the video I mostly use autostick now and stay in 2nd and 3rd around town, 2nd's awesome, it sounds awesome and takes off like a rocket when you drop into it down from 3rd.

I feel ya bud. Just do it in your driveway, idle and a few revs :p
Or as you say, place it by the road and do a drive by...should be alright.
I'm anxious to hear it because I'm thinking of getting the 5x8x18 myself, and since I also have the k&n cai I wanna hear how they play together :D

The video wont work for me for some reason. I really want to hear how the Flowmaster sounds, the guys at the shop tried to talk me into one but I already bought a magnaflow. The Flowmasters use a baffle and the Magnaflow use a straight tube through the muffler packed around the sides with fiberglass from what I could see. I use to run Flowmasters on my Mustang.
