4.7L Power tech

Does Jeep even call the 3.7L or the 4.7L a power tech motor anymore? or was that just a wj stint? I think our old 4.0L in the 93zj limited we had back when was a power tech also.:confused:

my 4 liter is a power tech and yes they still call the 4.7 a power tech.

Its just a name for the engine. The old I6's in the first ZJ's were AMC, then PowerTech later on...the ZJ's V8 was Magnum, just like the Dodges..

WJ's was PowerTech on the I6 and V8...

On the WK's...I didn't see them being called PowerTech...the intake muffler only says 4.7L V8...
