Last night was.....interesting

The anticipation was sky high.....from myself and many others...hell even some of the track officials knew of my new setup lol...i was like WTF

So anyways right as i got there i spoke with Jim383 and he told me the track prep was bad and he and LBSRT8 were spinning....

My tuner was supposed to bring race fuel and ice for the 623rw tune but he couldn't make it so i was on the 500rw tune...which is still 600+ crank

I knew if i hooked up nice i would run under a 7.3 and get kicked out so the plan was to launch hard and then let off.....

....i lined up with a gt500 which i was excited to run and smoke.....at the burnout box i drove past the waterbox and did a small peel out....

at the drop of the light i took off.....IMMEDIATE spinning...and THEN it got sideways on me pitching the front end left!

I was like OMFG....it was scary to say the least...being confident with AWD you assume you won't get sideways but it happened....the vid doesn't show to what degree i turned but the people at the start line, finish line, and Envied recording thought i was gonna go into a wall....i STILL ran a 1.9 60ft and let off....and started pulling the cobra and ran an 8.8 lol

It was an eye opener for SURE

Next run the plan was to blip the throttle then take off.....did that....ran a 2.0 60ft and a 7.7

Then my last run i did a slight WOT off the like resulting in a 1.67 60ft(still spinning) and a 7.42 @ 94mph.....i've never trapped that high in the 1/8th so the power is definitely there...

ATLEAST 11.2's with the street tune....

So heres my ISSUE....

As some know the Jeeps aren't TRUE all wheel drive....the only wheels that apply power to the ground are the rear passenger and front drivers wheel......SUCKS...hence why i was cleaning rubber off just those two wheel wells and why my Jeep turned left(the rear passenger wheel powered me in that direction) at the near accident
So now i'm faced with another obstacle which i EXPECTED of course

I NEED a imited slip rearend....if i ever plan on getting some 1.49 60ft's.......which are TOTALLY attainable with even my STREET tune

So i may be throwing in the towel for the race to 10's for a lil while....unless i can do a slow start with the 620hp race tune and then mash it.....

So i have a low 11 sec street Jeep....looks sick...sounds sick....turns heads....

Many would be happy...which i am.....so i'm going to save up and finish my stereo and then worry about the rearend later

On the 16th i will be in a private track rental so i'll have PLENTY of practice and shots at the 10's

Now......i'm saving up in my piggy bank for the 8.8 rearend with tru trac...B4 a rollcage..it's al $$$ folks
