Just like our guru friend Scott says, step by step, on his thread.. ( http://www.jeepgarage.org/showthread.php?t=27 )... very easy. Thanks bro! Also Rob gave me some tips on removing the HLs... kinda a PITA btw.. Anyway, it took me 2.5 hours. I had to remove bumper cover, bumper bracket and of course, the HLs. Connecting the wires was the easiest part... See pics..

No, stillens wont work, Scott tried that before...I already have an 08 grille to send to Daniel and I am getting an 08 bumper from ebay.. Can't wait.

Look, they are only $135. right now. The driver side seems good. You can get the passenger side on car-parts.com or wait for another auction to get the passenger side. They have them on ebay all the time.

I think that you should keep your bumper and get the patch pannles )under the lights) from somewhere like a scrap yard. I like the old bumper with those lights more than the new ones.

Really sharp lookin. I really like the OEM HIDs instead of these aftermarket ones I have in now, seems less glare and just looks alot cleaner. I think the 08-09 bumpers look awesome compaired to like 05's, more of the srt look to me. Did you go with an srt grill?

And I see projectors all the time listed on ebay, just have to look daily. Sum guy had like 3 sets a week or two ago. Right now im bidding on.......wait, not telling so no one bids on it. lol

Patch panels? Thats the profile of the newer bumpers, and good luck finding 08+ WK's in a junkyard. I cant even find any 05's near me and theres a few big junk yards around.

And I def have to disagree, the newer bumpers are soooo much nicer. Im to the point where im almost hateing mine now looking at the side view.

These are the ones I saw, he had another set that was mint condition I think also. Just not sure if i'd trust the seller since he states zero warranty at all. If they work perfect why not stand by what your selling? Welding plastic is simple, and the epoxy weld is usually stronger than the actual plastic once it sets. Can get a sheet of black abs plastic and fab your own tabs.

I had these vinyl HL covers that I purchased months ago and never install. So, while im waiting to gather more cash to do the full 08/09 front conversion. I decided to reshape them and apply them on the gap right under the HID HLs... Well, take a look, I think it looks pretty good. What do you think? Cheers :D

theres a how to at the top of the how to forum. They arent plug and play on anything but the 08-10's that originally came with HID's.

I recently used a product to glue a broken piece of plastic on an Ipod speaker thing I dropped and cracked. It was plasti-weld or something, and it holds great. Its not just a glue, it seems to actually bond the plastic together. Kinda like PVC glue, how it softens the plastic and bonds it permanantly.

I do luv the OEM projectors. It seems the glare looking head on is alot less than aftermarket hid's. There just so expensive.

^^ No problems. They work great! One of the best mod I've ever done... I think I might need to replace the relay harness tho, sometimes the left side flicks.

thanks scott. yeah im antsy i cant wait. im trying to get my friend to use his garage spot but his time is limited. id use my garage but they have specific rules on "you cant work on your own cars in there" so i cant do it in my garage.

6000- is what i was looking at. its like right in the middle in hue's. not purple or blue but not yellow. 6K is perfect id say.
