Yeah i like the 2011 more and more. The interior is where its at along with the quadra lift technology.

I like everything about the 2011 except for the headlights and tail lights, looks too much like an X5 to me. Otherwise i really like it.

LOL, Thats what i said about my Xj, heart and soul, Blood sweat and tears went it to that. Until i took my first test drive in a WK.

But i deff shed a tear when i watched it get towed away by its new owener, Even have pics of it going. Kid drove from out side Syracuse Ny to NH to get the thing.

Lol back on topic, I hope FIAT does not ruine the new JGC, let alone Jeep as a whole.

There were talks of dropping the Ram, Dakota, Viper, and the JK when this whole chapter 11 thing came up and Fiat bought in. Saying they want to get rid of the most expensive vehicles to make or some BS. Why not get rid of the dodge/chry duplicates that dont sell like the aspen and durango, or nitro, or compass, etc.

Mercedes-Benz designed the new GC so instead of throwing away the plans they went ahead with it. it's based on this thing

2011 is a WK.

Currently, Chrysler is only OWNED 20% by Fiat, but that 20% is a controlling interest.

Daimler (previously) owned 100% of Chrysler from 1998-2007. Then Cerberus bought 80.1%, Daimler kept the 19.9%, until the Bankruptcy, and now neither of those companies own a bit of Chrysler, so they're completely out of the picture except Daimler, they're still a supplier of parts (as they always have been, parts were never SHARED, Daimler wouldn't allow that so Chrysler ALWAYS had to buy them.).

Fiat can't ruin the 2011 WK (Gen 4 Grand Cherokee). The design and production is already finalized and there's nothing that can be done to modify it, except to scrap it entirely and that isn't gonna happen either.

The First Generation Mercedes ML was never shared with any Jeep, ever.

The second Generation however does share a platform with both the current WK and next gen WK. This ML however, is more of a Jeep than a Mercedes because it was engineered by... you guessed it... Jeep engineers at Jeep/Truck Engineering at the Plymouth Road Office Complex.

What ever I guess I don't know then, but in most of these situtations (and I didn't know chrysler swaped the suspension out) most manafactures usually retune suspensions and not create their own.

the 2010 is the same as the 2009, 2008, 2007(other than minor changes).....nothing changes till 2011...when the WKV2 comes out
