anyone know where to run the power cable on a WJ for a sub. I am running it on the passenger side. Anyone know where the hole is to run it to the battery through under the passengers feet or another route. Im also looking for DIY instructions on panel removal. Thanks

Not sure on the wires, but WJjeeps has some pretty detailed instructions for panel removals.

Just looked at mine. It was ran from the battery across the engine bay (like below where the wipers are), into the truck, under the trim towards the back then up from under the back seat. Mine is grounded under the rear seats on the passenger side. Hope this helps

I have some 0 gauge running down and attached to my frame rails (Protected by sliders) for my power and ground. But that's for the second battery. I still tap into it with a juncton box under my rear seat.

No, it runs down the side (drivers side) under the trim

update: well i had time to get the remote wire and rca cable run on the passenger side under the panels etc, so its clean. Im having a hard time finding where the firewall is under the steering wheel so I can pull the power wire through. I tried sticking the power wire through on a hanger from the engine but couldnt find the wire inside. Anyone know if its behind the dash or how to get to this firewall hole. Here is a picture of it from wjjeeps.com

on mine i layed down and slid in under the steeringwheel, and i too a hard plastic drinking straw (the non disposable starbucks one) and shoved it through the rubber gromet, and slid the wire through that and once i got it where i wanted it i took the straw out.. if you look up under the dash you can see a fat bundled cable that runs into the firewall, thats where it needs to go

Got it installed today. I turned a two 12" sub box into a single box with the amp on the side. The amp fit like a glove in there. Heres a couple pics.

im surprised how good one sub sounds. Its almost better than having two IMO because the music sounds more balanced and full.
