Hi all.
Looking for a little prep help. I just ordered the OME HD lift from Kolak and am going to swap out my skyjacker poly lift for it when it comes in.
I have done the math and reality is the ome can be done by a handy person and the superlift would cost me about $800-$1000 to have installed. Plus not to mention that my chick would bitch every time she had to climb in the jeep with that tall of a lift.
Now my questions and quick background: I did not install the skyjacker, I paid a 4x4 shop to do it and they charged me around $500, so this time I am going to do it myself. I figured that if I can wire a house, change an water pump and follow instructions I can do this.
1. When They installed the skyjacker, they did not give me any parts/bolts back. Is there anything I may be missing?
2. I ordered the Saguaro front bumper, thats why I went with the HD. Do you think it would benefit me to add the Rusty's 1/2 inch front spacers to make up for the added 132lbs plus winch when I add one?
3. After this is done, I will be selling the skyjacker. Will there be parts missing from the skyjacker kit because I still need them (bolts, etc.)?
Thanks for the help, but there is no way I am dropping anther $500 on a lift I can install myself.
