Well I read Joe's thread so later that day I went to Wal-Mart and bought a nice soft brush and some Simple Green because I wanted to clean my Engine Bay since it was such a nice day! This was my first time ever cleaning my Engine Bay. I was a little worried, but I sucked it up. I'm goin to clean in probably again next week because I noticed I miss some spots. Enjoy! I'm going to buy some products from Detail Image soon so it will be much better!

( I had to use a stick to hold up my Hood because my Hood Shocks are Shot Lol)

Steps(This is what I did):
1. Let the Engine cool down

2. I first cover the PCM and the Alternator(You don't have to, I just did it)

3. Sprayed some water lightly over the engine( I used Mist on the Hose)

4. Sprayed Simple Green all over the Engine Bay

5. Got my brush and spraye ome water onto it

6. Brushed everywhere

7. Rinsed

8. Dried and let the engine run for about 2 minutes :)

Great job Paul and congrats on completing your first successful engine detail! :D

Just one thing though... buy some new hood struts. :lol:

Lol I know...It was my first so my second will be much better! I clean the upper part of the engine better than the lower part. I have to buy some actual degreaser now.

Wow, that thing looks great!

Really put some time into that, and it showed :D

I was a little worried when I started. In the end I could of done a better job. I'm going to also buy a couple more brushes. Obviously one brush doesn't do it.
