posted on SJ got no response there obviosly since everyone is here so....

I was getting out of my jeep i turned off the ignition but still had the key at ACC and i turned the interior lights on... when i turned the key off the hazards blinks twice and when i closed the door and locked it i noticed a red blinking light on the dash... WTF... ive never seen this before and ive owned the jeep for almost a year now i dont know whats going on??????

The red blinking light is a notice that the Alarm is armed.

As for the hazards, I have no clue. :lol:

did you try arming and disarming the alarm to see if it turns on and off? I think thats like a thief deterent, (if there is such a thing)

alright thank you but after a year how did i all of a sudden activate it when its never turned on before

That blinking light was always there, you just did not notice it. Ask Mario, he never noticed his also. LOL

Thats the Mopar EVS or EV1 security...I have it as well.
