well today i let my friend use my jeep for the day she dropped me off at work and when she came and picked me up at 430 today she tells me the jeep stalled and the oil light came on and i was :confused: so she drove autozone and bought 1 bottle of oil poured it in and look in and its like i never poured anything in so went back into auotzone and bought 2 more bottles and only poured another bottle in i checked the dip stick it pervious to pouring the 1 bottle in and after the second bottle and its below the low line ?

Do you do your own Oil Change youself? If not check the Oil Plug on the Oil Pan to see if it's loose. When did you last do an Oil Change?

yeah i did that dry and nothing is leaking?

i changed my own oil about a few weeks ago and installed a qwik valve check it and nothing is leaking

any leaks underneath ? and i am not sure but the 5.2 magnums have a chronic plenum gasket leak. ive never worked on the 5.7 so im not sure if it has the same setup. does your exhaust smell like chit?

i would drain the oil into an oil basin and see how much you have in there.

Do an Oil change. And see how much Oil comes out when you do it.

I would also check my other places for that missing oil, window wash res, overflow, transmission, master couldn't fit a quart so safe there. u dig?

the jeep seems to be running fine MOST of the time i noticed the rpm needle goes down to the half mark between 1 and 0 then the jeep starts to vibrate then it spikes back up to 1 and this only happens if the jeep is sitting there for more than 5 mins.
