my transfer case went out today the viscus coupling exploded in side of it i have a friend that has a t-case out of a 1996 it is a select trac now mine it a 1993 and a quadra trac my question it will the new one fit ?? or do i have to get the same t-case that i currently have its not a big deal because he has a t-case out of a 94 that is the same as what i have now but i would rather have the select trac thanks for all your help

you have to make sure they're the same spline count. 23 or 21. and the gear selector may not fit. which just means you wont know which 4WD gear your in
