broken spark plug boots

hi all newbie here.....

changing the spark plugs on my 07 GC overland hemi, job is not bad at all (if you have the tools) but i should be beaten in the street for waiting until 50K to change my plugs. i broke three (well actually six) spark plug boots while removing the coil packs. i cant seem to find replacement boots anywhere except the stealership where they will only sell the whole coil including boots for 45 a piece. anyone know where to find just the boots or something compatible. thank you all for any help.

Mopar has made the boots available separately for the 4.7 engine but not yet for the 5.7L. If your dealer is wanting $45 each for the coils they are ripping you off - the factory list price is $30.60 each. You can get them from JustForJeeps.com for around $26.00 ea., a lot of $ if you have to buy 6 of them, but still $120 less than what your dealer wants to gouge you for. P/N for '07 5.7L is 56029129AB.

thanks for the help.....i just made my own. brought the closest i could find for 5 bucks a piece and cut them to size, works fine. did re-use the springs from the original boots

I've been putting off doing mine. Only have 18k miles though, so mine should be in better shape then yours hopefully.

Lets see 16 Iridium plugs at $8 each is $128, may as well throw on MSD coils while I'm at it at $430. So $560 for a tune-up and a few hours work. Not awful. I think thats about what I paid for the Bimmers and that only had 8 plugs.
