Love the comparison to the VW Touareg, as I'm looking at both as a replacement to my recently totalled (by a "texting" teenager) Audi Allroad Quattro.

After having air suspension, wouldn't have a car without it. It costs more up front and in the end, but it's worth it.

If build quality and ride are up to par, I'm going Jeep. The Touareg is dropping the 4-corner air suspension, 4xMotion and locking diffs for the US market when the new version arrives this fall. Bummer.

According to that article, it's going to include limited slip front & rear with Quadradrive? Is that information accurate, and is that something that's been known?

If this is Edmunds' "First Look", they have been asleep for a very long time. Worthless article.

To me they have to get rid of the antenna it needs to be hidden. It just doesnt look like good quality when they stick it on the roof, or at least make it a shark fin

Outboard roof antennas provide superior radio reception; the Wall Street Journal even had a recent piece on car radio antennas. Granted, in time most mobile listening will be online, but for now it's still FM/AM for non-recorded content.

It definitley won't show as much on a black vehicle. However, due to reception issues they had to enlarge the antenna, so even on dark vehicles it may still showup somewhat.

LOL...

I don't understand why they don't put them in the windshield and/or the rear or side windows?

I've had older GM's and newer Pontiacs (GTP and GTO) with them and the reception was outstanding!
