06-08 is coming up 3/4"x16, and 08-09 is showing 22x1.5mm threads. Anybody have any idea when in 08 they changed it? Need to know which sandwich adapter to buy.

Nah, no need to bother him. I'll just see what filter they use when I get the oil changed and cross reference it. My EVIC is telling me its time anyway.

I found out the hard way that in 09 they changed it for the 3.7 and not fram, bosch, or anyone sells them to fit. I went to walmart, Jiffy Lube, Mavis, etc and they don't carry the filter for my year 3.7 WK. I have to buy the filter from the dealer and keep them in the jeep for when I need an oil change.

yea it is odd that they only sell the 4.7 filter at walmart and none of the others.

I just found this out myself, as well... I guess its time for a leisurely bike ride to the dealership... Its only a couple miles away, but its 100 degrees outside!
At my Wal-Mart, both the new and old type filters are available, in Mopar Brand. My 2008 Hemi Ram used the new type.

All of 08 should be the new M22 thread.
