Well I sold my Jeep last night, its a very long story and would be a few pages worth of reading if I went through and told every detail, Ill save the details unless someone really wants to know...

Basically I was having ALOT of issues with the Jeep some were electrical and some were machanical. The jeep was out of factory warranty and I purchased an extended warranty when I bought it used but since I lifted it and had aftermarket parts on it the dealer that I took it to basically voided the drivetrain portion of the extended warranty, so I had no coverage. I had major issues with the front axle being siezed in the differential and I was told I would be looking at $3700 out of pocket to have it replaced. I also would have to pay labor rates to have the air bag module reprogrammed and a few other things... I decided that while the Jeep still had low millage for its age ( 2005 with 25K ) that I would unload it. Shortly after trying to trade it in on a used car I was informed by a dealer that pulled a carfax on it that it had a dark dirty history before I bought it. After a little research I found out that I had no real way of doing anything about being sold a dirty vehicle without long term and very exspensive legal battles.

More then one dealership offered me between $7,000 & $8,500 for the Jeep which was an insult since I still owed a little over $12K on it, I took it to Carmax and they offered me $10,500 which was still low and left me with negative equity but it was alot better then the other offers so I sold it to them and wrote them a check for $2400 and change to pay it off and forget about it.

I had alot of good times and alot of fun with my Jeep, It treated me pretty well but once I started having these issues I knew it was time to let it go and forget about it. I learned a hard lesson but I'll chalk it up to experience!

When I sold the Jeep I let it go with the lift and almost new tires and wheel spacers but I took everything else I could off with plans to sell the stuff, I will list the Items I have for sale here so incase anyone that reads this is interested they can contact me about buying the items. I know this is not the for sale section and I with post the items in a thread in that section also but I figure more people will see/read this thread.

Here are the items I have to sell, I'm open to offers but no lowball offers I have alot of money wrapped up in this stuff so I'm not going to give it away...

- Front Shackle Mounts with 3/4" Shackles - These were custom built for me by Saguaro 4X Components I helped design these with the builder and I was the first to have these.

- Rear Bilstein HD Shocks

- Rear Hitch - This was never used to tow, it was only used to hold a hitch mount D-ring shackle mount

- Smittybilt Hitch Mount D-ring Shackle with D-ring

- Stillen Headlight Covers - These were profesionally painted to match the color of my Jeep ( Deep Beryl Green )

- Plastic Engine Splash Shield

- Stock Muffler and Tailpipe - This only has 19K miles on it and has no damage but the tailpipe was cut off so they could get it off when doing the custom exhaust job.

- 2 Brand New K&N Oil Filters

Please PM me if your interested in any of the above items. I will post a thread In the for sale section which will include pictures of each item.

This forum has been a really great place, I've learned alot and everyone on here has been helpful so even though I no longer have a Jeep I will still check the forum and give advice or help when I can.

I want to get some lug nuts for them. Please post a link if you know if a good deal, or info if you know of a good company/make/brand. I also want them to have locking capabilities...and recommendations there? And with the finish of these wheels what do you think will look best: Black, Matte black, Charcoal or polished/stainless? Any opinions are welcomed...

If worse comes to worse the guy I bought the wheels from said the OEM lugs work. Can anyone confirm this? TIA
