Re: shuddering acceleration: who has it?

i had it, i had the tsb done, and the shudder was gretaly reduced while in auto mode. in sport mode, which is the mode im always in, it never happens. i actually forgot about it till you posted this thread. not joking. use sport mode until the fix is done right.

Re: shuddering acceleration: who has it?

Is this only the V8 or does it affect the V6 too?

i have it, even after having the TSB done to my truck. it is much less, but still absolutely there.
anyone have the TSB totally fix the problem?
who did the TSB and still has it?
who just has it?
consider this one of the first "whats wrong with my jeep" threads for the wk2.
(didnt post in the troubleshooting forum because not much wk2 traffic there yet)
Do you have V6 or Hemi?

Re: shuddering acceleration: who has it?

Mine shudders bad during light acceleration between 45-65 MPH. Especially if you accelerate light enough that it does not down shift from overdrive. The worst thing, mine is 2wd V8 and the dealer says the TSB does not include me.....

Re: shuddering acceleration: who has it?

I know the TSB applies to V6 as well, but does anyone with a V6 have the problem? Shuddering is the reason I swore off American cars (my Malibu had it bad). If they put this jeep through all those tests, how did this not come up?

Re: Did Shudder TSB fix a problem?

OK, so beyond the derails, is there a fix in yet for shudder or no?

We would all really just like to know, please and thank you.

Re: Did Shudder TSB fix a problem?

Jeep hasn't updated the tsb since I had the work done and the work they did dint fix my issue. I would say there is no fix available as of yet. The update that was done did reduce the shudder, but not eliminate completely.

I would've thought this would be old news at this point but.....jeep must still be working on it.

Driving in sport mode totally eliminates the shudder though....

I dont believe I feel or realize the shutter on Auto, I received my Overland after the TSB's were flashed at factory, else they changed something else too after July 26th (bulletin date)
