how wide can i go?

hey guys I'm new to jeeps i just got out of a 09 bmw 135i and into a 12 jeep laredo x. i really wanna put a new set of wheels on and found the site factoryreproductions.com and was thing of going with the viper wheel with the machiened face but don't know if i can fit a 22 x 10 all around. i don't want to do a staggared set up as that what was on my bmw and i went through way to many tires because of not being able to rotate. so if anyone can tell me if i can fit these 22 x 10 all around that would be greatly appreciated. if not i guess id have to go with the either the the 22 x 9 or the 20 x 10 what ever would fit better.

thanks

Re: how wide can i go?

im fairly new myself, but from what ive seen i think people are only doing staggred or 20" or 22"x9 all around have not seen x 10 anywhere yet think it would be too wide up front and would rub pretty bad... look around theres so many wheel and tire threads

good luck and congrats on the jeep

you can go this wide 22x10.5 no rubbing ! 285-35-22 also had 305-40-22 all around with no rubbing or problems!

hey thanks for the infon on my post. i have another question. if i go with the 22 x 10 all around do you think i would have any clearance issues if i put a 305-45-22 nitto nt420s tire on? why did you go to a smaller tire?

Re: how wide can i go?

If you go with the 305-40-22 you will fit perfect and have very good amount of rubber between wheel and the road with no rubbing at full turn
